    We are friendly team of professionals whose aim is it to look after you and the health needs of your family. All our staff are trained to put your needs first, so if you are worried or unsure then do please ask and we will be pleased to help.


    Are You a Carer?

    It is helpful to know if you have a Carer (someone who takes on an unpaid caring role) or if you are a Carer for someone else. We have a page dedicated to Carers where you can also register with us as a carer so we can provide you with additional support.

    Minor illness – sore throat, rash, ear pain, chest infection – see our Nurse.

    Diabetic Clinic – See one of our Nurses.

    Smear Test – See one of our Nurses.

    Coils & Implants – See Nurse and GP

    Maternity Care – Midwife and GP.

    Baby Clinic/Child Healthcare – GP, Health Visitor and Nurse.

    Joint injections – Physiotherapist.

    Health Promotion

    It is the Practice's policy to pursue preventative medicine for all Individuals is, our nurses offer "Well Person" checks and will advise on disease prevention, including pre diabetes advice.

    GP non-NHS Medical Examinations

    All the GP partners carry out medical examinations for insurance companies, and other fitness medicals by appointments. These include PSV & HGV licences, elderly drivers, sporting, and pre-employment needs. There is a charge payable by the Individual for some of these medicals. A full list is available in the waiting room.

    Our Practice Nurse offers the following services:

    • Blood Pressure Checks

    • Diabetes Review
    • First aid advice, Blood and Urine Tests, Dressings, removal of stitches etc
    • Ear syringing
    • Adult and Childhood Immunisations
    • Travel Immunisations
    • Stopping Smoking
    • Cervical Smears / Contraception Services
    • Family Planning
    • Health Promotion
    • New Patient Health Checks
    • Advice on Diet
    • Post Natal Exams
    • Spirometry (lung function tests)

    The nurse also runs a variety of clinics. An appointment is required to see the nurse.

    Travel Immunisations & Advice

    Our Practice Nurse is available for advice and immunisations. An appointment should be made at least 6 weeks prior to travel. Further information including access to our online travel forms can be found here.
